Enjoy this free pattern for a chunky crochet earwarmer.
Earwarmers are such a favorite of mine. Mainly because I am not much of a hat person.
I love the construction of this specific earwarmer. It is worked in a long tube. This style earwarmer makes for a much warmer item for those very cold days.
The tube format of this crocheted headband creates 2 layers of fabric. That is why it is a much warmer earwarmer than some others.
The simple texture of this chunky crochet earwarmer is also very nice. Crocheting in the back loop only creates a very neat look to this.
The little cinched section can either be worn in the front or in the very back. Whatever the wearers preference is.
Yarn:
The yarn for this project was provided for me to use from We Crochet. The yarn is called Biggo and the color used was Dove Heather.
The yarn is a chunky #5 yarn. It is made up of 50% Superwash Merino Wool and 50% Nylon. This yarn may just be one of the softest I have every worked with.
I really enjoyed working with this yarn to create this warm earwarmer. I would definitely work with it again!
