Pattern Details:
The Seaside Shawl is a beautiful triangle shawl crochet pattern that uses contrasting colors to really show off the texture of the different stitches used. The color combinations are endless!
This shawl design is worked from the top down. It is also worked in sections rather than written with specific row counts. This allows for you to easily use a different yarn weight if you so desire. I had one tester use a dk weight #3 yarn and another tester use a worsted weight #4 yarn and both came out so beautifully!
This pattern has a difficulty level of Intermediate. I have included a couple photos within the pattern to help aid you in certain sections and there is also a photo tutorial within the pattern showing how one of the stitches is worked.

Yarn Details:
This pattern is named after one of the yarn colorways that I used. The yarn is a beautiful Hand Dyed weight #1 yarn by ThreadHead Knits Co. The pattern uses 2 skeins of Single Sock Base in the color Seaside and 1 skein of Single Sock Base in the color Saffron.
If you have difficulty working with a fine weight yarn and a small hook size you can easily use a different weight yarn and adjust the hook size accordingly to suit the yarn being used. Just keep in mind that a different yarn weight may affect the drape and wearability of the shawl.
