Bring wrong side together meeting the last row with the first row, in all loops of first and last row sl st the first row to the last row for 17 sts, in next 4 sts sl st only in the first row (this creates the thumb hole), skip 4 sts on the last row, continue to sl st both rows together in the remaining sts.
