I absolutely love making home decor pieces for my own home. Whether its pillows, throws, rugs, or wall hangings I think handmade home decor makes a house feel like a home.
The Western Style Wall Hanging is a versatile home decor piece. Depending on the color you choose to make this in you can place this in many different areas of your home. Have a home office or an entryway or nursery? Make this in a nice neutral or in a bright color to add that pop of color a specific space needs.

Pattern Details:
Yarn: The yarn used in this design gave this wall hanging the perfect textured look with the stitch combination that was used. You will need about 150 yards of Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn or a suitable substitute #5 bulky weight yarn.
Other Details: You will also need a 12 inch dowel rod or stick to work the last row of the wall hanging around. To create the long fringe you will also need a length of cardboard or a book to wrap the yarn around to cut the fringe the same length.
This pattern difficulty level is considered Easy. I think you’ll find this pattern very satisfying to make and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
