Materials needed for a Thick Kitchen Potholder
To start on a thick kitchen potholder you will need a 100% cotton yarn. A Worsted Weight yarn (Category 4) specifically. You may already have some in your stash.
We Crochet Dishie was used for this project. This yarn is made up of 100% cotton with 190 yards per skein of yarn. Variegated yarns are really fun to use for this crochet potholder pattern.
A substitute yarn can be Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton which is 100% Mercerized Cotton. Or try Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton.
You will also need a crochet hook as well as some scissors and a yarn needle.
